Secrets of MLM and Network Marketing
Secret-what a magical word. Just mention it and people get closer for fear they might miss something. For instance the movie “The Secret” did extremely well and I contribute it to the fact that the word secret was in the title. The secret that they talk about “is you become what you think about.” That is not only not new it’s been around for thousands of years and goes all the way back to roman days when Mar Anthony said it. I have a set of tapes by Brian Tracy and one of the tapes is devoted to the “Law of Attraction. Also, Earl Nightingale said it in his groundbreaking recording of “Lead The Field.”
If you go on the internet and put in the word “secret” you will get thousands of replies from people who want to help you. they will charge for their advice on MLM or network marketing and sometimes these prices are outrageous. So beware. The point I am trying to make is their are no secrets that you can’t find. If the person who sponsored you is experienced he/she can help you and if he/she is not go to his upline or go directly to the company. They will put you in touch with somebody who can answer your questions.
There are some sponsors out there who can’t or don’t want to answer a lot of questions. I had them tell me “this business might not be for you”, “stop whining” and get “off your butt and go to work.” Can you handle that kind of rejection or can you rise above it and realize your own dreams. You can’t let anybody dictate your success. Or evaluate how well you will do, because in the end It’s all up to you.
Science over the years has led us to believe if we can’t touch or feel it that it is not real. Of course that thinking is changing dramatically. Science and spirituality are starting to come together. They realize how powerful a belief is even though it can’t be touched or seen. The power of belief in yourself can not be measured. I mean the kind of belief that is a white hot laser beam. Then you will see what you can do.
Now what you need is a method of action or a plan. How much do you want money do you need to achieve your dreams? Can you schedule a couple of hours a night that you can devote to your new enterprise? You can’t start a business without any cash. You will quit before you even get started. How much? Most companies you can get started for under $500. If you are serious you need about six months of expenses or $2000 to $3000. Commit to your own success. MLM is no different than any other business. You just can’t quit at the first sign of disappointment. The “Law of Attraction” does work. Be persistent!
